Is Doxytetracycline Safe To Use?

Hi, I went to the doctor and he gave me doxytetracycline as I had pains in my womb. The problem is that every morning when I go to the bathroom my urine is red. Should I be worried?

It would be best to return to your doctor for further evaluation.

The U.S. FDA lists the typical side effects of this antibiotic as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea.

Blood in your urine is not normal, you may be experiencing a kidney, or bladder infection, which could require other treatments.
