Based on my research, the primary use of Nuvance is in the treatment of "allergic asthma". It may also be of use in the treatment of organ transplant rejection, graft versus host disease, allergy and infectious disease.
I have yet to find any specific details even remotely related to chronic sinusitis, other than it's vaguely mentioned indications for 'allergies and infectious diseases'. Sinusitis itself is a sinus infection, but I believe there are many different antibiotics that doctors can prescribe for this type of condition.
To answer your question though, there's really not enough available information on Nuvance itself to compare any other drugs to. But from what little bit I could gather, I don't think there are any alternatives quite like Nuvance; here in the US at least.
