I just got mine today and they are not worth a sh... I very disappointed in these new laws that is affecting the people . Wastson or dan or DuPont . I thought was the brand but they don't carry them here. Guess I have to mail oder them . watson is the only way. I just dont understand why the government has to change things. Tussnexx . Keeps changing patent so they can keep it write o well . I be huntting really brand Percocet next month

I agree I been suffering in pain cause of the new law I have to suffer and they dont to give me med for my pain.

Hi James,

Because they are different manufacturers, Amneal more than likely contains a different set of "inactive" ingredients than Actavis (formally known as Watson). From my own research, I'm led to believe that these binders/fillers are the root cause behind some pills not working as effectively as their "identical" counterparts from other manufacturers. Apparently what happens here is that some of these binding agents surrounding the medication aren't able to fully metabolize; meaning that the active ingredient is not being completely released from within. This is just my theory, but it seems like a logical explanation. It's a shame how pharmacies still push these drugs so heavily on patients even with all the complaints about their lack of efficacy.

However, I believe if enough people were to file a report with the FDA through their MedWatch program, that may be the best way to gradually dwindle out some of the less effective brands/generics on the market.
