I just refilled my Oxycontin and was given a generic form that is yellow in color and oval shaped. One side of the pill has the number 32 and the other has the number 93. My other ones were round and yellow in color with the number 40 on one side Are these the same pills or do they have different ingredients?

If you have been on pills for a long time you need to find a local methadone clinic and start with that because if u are hooked u cannot quit on your own. Been there and tried it.

If you want to quit any pills start by reducing the amount you are taking and keep reducing until you are down to 2 a day (1 morning) and (1 late afternoon).

As to the ingredients of the generic Oxy, of course the active ingredient is the same but the binders/fillers may be different, which can effect how well the pills work for some people. Under the FDA regulations, the active ingredient can also differ by plus or minus 20percent from the name brand pills, so with some companies and their sloppy quality control, you might not have pills that are as strong as they should be, or they might be too strong.

quiting this particular narcotic,is like quiting heroin,there both common with opiets,and with out treatment it is very hard to kick the habit,the cravings as well.

I think toy any one if they mant or need pills for any reason,they should be able to have them if there not given to children,animals,or any one thats going to extremly abuse them.

the 93 33 is 80 mg Oxycodone manufactured by Teva Pharmaceuticals are you able to cut that in half on will that mess with the time release
