Is A 031 R Stronger Than A Lorazepam 1mg?

I wanting to know this because i have really bad panic attacks and i need to know which one will help me the fastest?

Hi Kayla,

Both medications are in the same drug class of benzodiazepines, but in terms of overall potency/strength mg for mg, there's really no truly accurate answer since drug equivalency charts don't take into account the fact that everyone responds to these types of drugs differently. Looking on various discussion threads comparing the two, I concluded that neither medication seems to have anymore clout than the other overall. However, from what I understand Lorazepam is reported to be longer lasting than Alprazolam. The best thing to do in my opinion would be to ask your doctor for a trial of either medication to see what works best for you over the course of several weeks.
