Is Zonisamide For Mirgaines

it read that it's for controlling seizures (epilepsy). Nothing about migraines.

That's why it was prescribed to me but I stopped taking it because of the side effects.

Many medications treat multiple conditions and these antiseizure ones have been shown to help with migraines, some mood disorders and certain types of nerve pain.

Its side effects may include nausea, dizziness, anorexia and memory impairment.

Some others that can also cross over and help with migraines are beta blocker blood pressure medications. Some antidepressants can also help with nerve pain.

Yes. It does help migraine headaches if you can get past the side effects. For me was itching, nausea, loss of appetite.
