Is Zenflox 200 Mg An Antibiotic For Typhoid?

Is Zenflox 200 mg is used for typhoid? If yes, what is the dosage for children below 10 years.

Zenflox contains the active ingredient Ofloxacin; this is an antibiotic, which may be used to treat various types of infections. I haven't found anything indicating its use for typhoid.

Floxin is not licensed by the FDA for use in children due to the risk of serious reversible and irreversible injury to the musculoskeletal system. Other fluoroquinolones do have a limited licensed uses in children but are generally not recommended due to safety concerns. Ofloxacin (and its derivatives) has also been associated with a few isolated reports of unexplained pediatric fatalities. Children (those under 18) are also at an increased risk of bone, joint, or tendon toxicities.

Where you given this prescription from your doctor? If so he should have also given you instructions on how to take it. If he didn't give you instructions then it should at least be on the bottle or packaging. If it is not on the bottle or packaging then your doctor or pharmacist isn't doing their job and should be fired.
