Is Wellbutrin From Canada Something Else

I was forced to order my Wellbutrin 300 mg Xl from Canada in January due to my insurance not covering the name brand (and I had a SEVERE reaction to the generic and cannot take it-massive hives and throat swollen shut), and I obviously couldn't afford the $400/month for the name brand so I went to an online Canadian pharmacy to get my meds. I was assured by them that it was the same stuff, but that it was shipped from Turkey. I was a little nervous but what could I do? Since switching, I can honestly say this has been one of the worst years of my life. I have been more depressed than ever, really wanting to go back to my eating disorder, no libido, no energy, suicidal thoughts, overly emotional, etc. Wellbutrin was the best antidepressant I had ever taken, and this stuff is NOT what I used to take. I'm just wondering if there are others out there that are going through what I am going through. I have tried so many antidepressants since I was 13 years old to help battle my weight obsession/eating disorder and depression and Wellbutrin was the ONLY one that finally worked. Well, until now. I'm considering stopping taking this b/c I really don't think it's doing anything so I'm sure it won't make any difference if I stop taking it. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Sorry you had trouble. Canadian pharmacy but "Shipped from Turkey." There's your smoking gun.
