I am not a doctor, so I cannot say if this is the best medication for you to take for this infection, but I'm sure it will help get the job done. It looks like Ampicillin is the active ingredient in this medication. Ampicillin has been used extensively to treat bacterial infections since 1961 according to my research.

Although I personally suggest looking into Clove Essential Oil. It's a natural remedy for dental issues as far as alleviating tooth aches (anaesthetic properties) and fighting infections (antibacterial, antimicrobial, antifungal properties).

Just make sure you don't use a lot of it at once (no more than a 2-4 drops in the desired area a couple times a day, as essential oils are very concentrated and may be toxic in very large doses. This generally is not something to worry about as you won't need more than the bare minimum to help with your complication. A lot of dental offices use this oil in their practice.

Please post back if you have any questions or concerns about this!
