Is Sulfa In Allopurinal
UpdatedDoes allopurinol contain any sulfa?

Based on my research, Allopurinol is not listed as a sulfa-containing drug.
NOTE: Allopurinol, however, is regarded as one of the leading causes of Stevens Johnson Syndrome (SJS) - a condition that is also linked to many sulfa drugs. Just something I feel more patients should be aware of before taking this medication.
You can learn more about this drug on the page for Allopurinol Details
I hope this helps to answer your question!
