Is Some Methadone Stronger Even Though Its The Same Mg.

Im on a clinic and it seems like the methadone i got when i was at the hospital was wat stronger even though i was still getting the same mg.it seemed stronger and lasted better until i got dosed the next day at the sametime basically does anyone know if this is true or not or if it just seems like that I'm very confused about this someone please tell me what you know

There can be some slight fluctuations in the amount of the active ingredient from one generic to another.

However, there's a much better chance that you've just grown tolerant to your current dosage, so it's not having the same effect on you anymore.

You probably took little white pills in the hospital. As they usually don't have methadose stocked. The pills are much stronger than methadose. I'm sure they held you longer than the 18 hours the red stuff lasts.

Those people do not know what they are talking about.
Methadone clinics use a time release formula of methadone called Methadose made by Mallincrodt Labs. The hospital used methadone immediate release. That is the difference. Unless the pills are Methadose, which Mallincrodt makes now, the pills are much better. I also do not think Methadose last as long as methadone. One lasts 12 hours, one 24 hours. Now it is not suppose to do that, but it does.
I do my best to NEVER use METHADOSE!

Methadose disketts, people call them "biscuits" are NOT time released. They are dispersible tablets..that is you put them in water and they dissolve. Then you drink the liquid. It is not a time release product, just a different formulation.

Methadone comes in liquid, disketts, and 5mg & 10mg. tablets

IMO Suboxone would be the equivalent but you can no longer have a habit on Methadone when you start Suboxone because Suboxone is a antagonist and will put you in terrible withdrawal. After that you are gonna end up on fentanyl and finally illicit drugs because of the prices. Hope to god I'm wrong for your sake but I've been living it for over 30 years and seen a lot of good kids get on the needle.
