Is Opana 10mg Stronger Than A Oxycodone 30mg (Page 2) (Top voted first)
Updatedi have new pesription and my dr. wants me to try opana 10mg. is this drug stonger and how much stonger than my last drug oxycodone 30mg..
How much is 60mg compared to?
I suggest oxycodone over all the morphine I have. I'm taking mscontin 60 mg they are ok, but it doesn't compare to oxycodone. that's my opinion
Fentanyl patch, if you've been on it a while can take up to 24 hours to get relief and slowly lowers its effectiveness over the 72 hours. Dr. Told me that it drops about 2 to 5 percent ever 3 to 5 hours. But it's the best thing for chronic pain you can find easily.
I take 70 fittanal patches now and I also take Opana instant relief 10 mg for breakthrough pain I used to take oxycodone 30 mg three times a day for my breakthrough pain will the Opana 10 mg give me the same relief that the 30 mg oxycodone gave me..
You DID mean 3-4 hr half life of Opana correct? Which is still short. It is more like 5-6 hrs.
There is generic form of Opana er. It's called oxymorphone er. Your pharmacy may have to special order it.
It would be cheaper at Sams club or Costco...wholesale!!
Yes there is a generic for opans, because I'm on it.
The DEA wants opana er off the market. People in Tennessee are abusing it and getting hep c and aids. But if you're that stupid to tamper with a tamper proof medication, then just go do something else!!
Just so you know the entire situation, I don't have insurance, so my doctor prescribes me the generic OxyMORphone which isn't tamper proof. I don't abuse it, but they still make the old "opanas" that I know for a fact
I know this is a long time ago, however opana er 20mg and 10mg ir were going to cost me almost $700 a month without insurance coverage at this time.
What pharmacy in Nashville tn carry the opana with the half moon on it?
I am getting switched from 10 mg oxycodone x 6 per day to 5 mg Opana ER x 2.
I am wondering if the Opana ER comes in generic as oxymorphone (for pricing purposes) and if it will be equivalent or better relief which the oxycodone doesn't provide now.
With a free prescription card you can print from offline without entering any personal information you can get a huge discount on the Opana. I get #60 of the 15mg a month. At RiteAid w/o insurance it is $320. The free prescription card drops it to $118.
I used to get it filled at Walgreens using the Walgreens savings card (cost $20/yr for it) and that brought the cost to $143. About a year ago they took the Opana off their savings card which brought the cost to $345.
I have shopped around a lot and RiteAid with the free discount card is the cheapest!
Good luck!
Yes there is. I know there are at least two manufactures that make them. You can actually look online on the government site and find out what each manufacture makes and expected dates for when manufactures will start making a generic form of a medication or when a patent will expire.
One manufacture, the one I now request, because of strength, is Actavis (round white with crescent moon)
I'm not sure of the name of the other manufacture because I got it once and it was crap, but that means there is another.
I have gotten the Actavis from both Walgreens and RiteAid. The other manufacture from RiteAid as well.
Good luck to you!
Hi Dave!! ;) Dave speaks the truth, they are available. xoxo
I pay 896 for 60 opama 30
I have had 4 back operations , 2 laminectomy, discectomy, scar tissue removal. Physical Therapy. I've been diagnosed with degenerative disc disease, osteoarthritis. Both of my legs hurt most of the time, sciatic in left leg no feeling as well. Now I'm having pain in Thoracic affecting arms pain and numbness. Have been on numerous meds, currently on hydrocodone 10/325,Soma 350mg 3 each a day 2mg Xanax to help me sleep. I'm seriously thinking about a pain pump. I get very little relief from these meds. I see a Neurologist right now. Family Doctor doesn't deal with pain like mine. Sometimes I wish I wouldn't wake up I'm in so much pain. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Percocet is not just oxycodone, it's a combination of oxycodone and acetaminophen, more popularly known in the us as Tylenol
