Is Neoral Worth It?
UpdatedThe balance between benefit & side effect, must be overwhelming on the side of benefits. Otherwise the medication should be considered "work in progress". The question that needs to be asked is why it is allowed for general distribution (remember radium tablets Cora 1910-1920)

Hello, Ken! How are you?
Neoral is listed as containing the active ingredient Cyclosporine, it is an immunosupressant. It was originally isolated from a fungus in 1969, so it's actually not new.
The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, gum enlargement, peptic ulcers and pancreatitis.
What types of symptoms have you experienced from taking it?
