Actually there can be a possibly dangerous interaction between the two medications.
The Methylphenidate in the Concerta can cause increased levels of the SSRI Fluoxetine that's in the Nuzak and that can cause the type of adverse effects that he's experiencing.

You need to report this issue to his doctor, this is probably not the right combination of medications for him to take.
