Is Ip 190 500 Hydrocodone Or Naproxen?

Hey guys, the IP 109 / 500 is naproxen. But if you have an oblong pill with IP 109 and a line on the back I think it's Vicodin 5mg. Personally I think they look way too much alike. Always check.

I'd just like to add some clarification to avoid confusion that may be caused by the typo… The 500mg Naproxen tablet has the marking IP 190 on one side and 500 on the other. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding and stomach irritation.

The generic for Vicodin has the IP 109 on one side.

The FDA classifies it as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

Pill IP 190 is Naproxen. Pill IP 109 is Vicodin. Hope this helps you

Yes, I agree with the consensus reached here. And yes, those imprints are quite similar and I can see them confusing many people.

IP 109 is generic for Vicodin (Hydrocodone/Acetaminophen 5/325). NDC codes 54348-066, 53746-109.



IP 190 with 500 on the other side is Naproxen 500 mg. NDC codes 55111-368, 53746-190, 67544-475, and more.

IP 109 is 5mg Hydrocodone and 325mg of Acetaminophen.

I don't recommend taking Naproxen or any NSAIDs (Ex. Ibuprofen) 6 hours after IP 109 with Tylenol, especially if you suffer from ulcers or on many meds, but mainly antidepressants or if you have tachycardia.
