my doc told me he was giving me norcos but the bottle says generic for lortab white oblong IP109. so is it a Norco or lortab?

Norco and Lortab are both name brands for a medication that contains Hydrocodone and Acetaminophen, so it it really doesn't matter which one your pharmacy lists on the label, they have still provided you with the correct medication.
The tablet you've received is manufactured by Amneal Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 5mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen (NDC 53746-109).
The FDA classifies this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
