Is Greenstone Alprazolam Really Discontinued?

I have been getting my alprazolam substituted with Sandoz 2 mg tabs which do zi[/nada/nothing and Aurobindo 1 mg ER tabs which are also useless. I've had a bad experience with Sandoz and oxazepam before. CVS says Greenstone is discontinued but my independent pharmacy says they are being produced but I have to pay $35 for the Rx because my Part D drug insurance "only reimburses them a few dollars". CVS initially promised me Teva (2mg) and Greenstone 1 mg ER. After getting Sandoz and Aurobindo, they say that their stock varies from day to day and whatever the supplier sends to them that day is what I get. How screwed up is that?

Yup same experience here. For last 2 years at least greenstone alprazolam tablets and bars are not the same. They are noticeably weaker than Aurobindo, Sandoz, and Breckenridge which I cant find In NJ anymore. Greenstones have sucked. They changed their formula. Aurobindo 2mg and 1mg tabs of alprazolam are noticeably better and feel like actually a millagram for a milligram. The newer greenstobe formula feels like if I take 4mg a day, Im only taking 3.2 mg. A day. Sandoz have been way better too. Idk y people hating on Aurobindo regular alprazolam. I dont take ER aurobindo but the normal instant release pills ate the best I have found at the moment in NJ. And ita not that close. Im not sute why people hating on Aurobindo so much. Mylan is the Worst, folowed by Sun, Activis is ok. Teva I didnt care for especially in the 2mg form. Activist are decent. I havent seen Dava in years out here Im not a fan of them or Par either
ok its probably better than new greenstones but still isnt as good as Sandoz or Aurobindo. Ive been taking generic xanax for over 20 years. Why can't I get breckenridge generic xanax in NJ anymore? My pharmacy phased them out with Aurobindo and Actavis which sucks because breckenridge generumics were the best in recent years since greenstones formula is difinitely different and inferior to what it was 5 to 10 years ago. Its co.pletely different weaker. And they were the best a decade a ago and in the past. New greenatone suck. I dont get it either....

My independent pharmacy delivered generic Greenstone at the standard price, no $35 extra, after I related the situation to Cigna. Cigna contacted them and sent me a letter informing me. I just wonder about all these India produced generics. These definitely don't have whatever was in the Auribindo that in addition to not being effective, also made me feel sick and stupid. But even the Greenstone doesn't feel like it used to. Maybe it's just my physiology. I give up. It seems the best I can get is 4 hours +/-, unless I'm exhausted. So one night I sleep 7 hours, the next 4. Then 6 or 7 because I only got 4 the night before and then back to 4. I give up.

It's corporate like CVS. My independent pharmacy can order specific generics, they just want more money.

That is the way it always has worked. You can't order specific generic brands from the pharmacy, and they can't promise you anything. Do you know the money made off each generic fill? Plus there is going to be a point where they don't want you a customer anymore. The days of pill shopping around with your written Doctor's prescription is over. Here is what happened since 2020:

"Pfizer Inc. will spin off its Upjohn division—which includes Pfizer's authorized generic business Greenstone, LLC—and combine it with Mylan. The new entity will be called Viatris"
