Hello, Tdog! How are you?
They are basically equivalent, because they are enantiomers of each other, IE: their molecules are mirror images. One may work better for you than the other, due to idiosyncrasies of the human body, but otherwise, neither is stronger than the other.
The FDA lists the typical side effects of PPIs as possibly including nausea, dizziness, stomach pain and flatulence.
