I actually just started taking adderall because I work in a restaurant and have a hell of a schedule and a coworker suggested I try it so I've not used it more then ten times. I've only had the orange football shaped 20mg instant release and the 30 milligram pink ones talked about here. I actually like the pink better. . only take a half and I'm still zooming when I g get thru working a double. With the orange, I had to take one for each shift and still didn't get the desired effect I get from the pink. Therefore, I do not believe they are a placebo, as I've only tried 2 different kinds, and would like to try some different types to see how they affect me differently. just my input on the realness of the pink 30s.

I've had the 30 mg orange football shaped ones made by Teva, and I have had the 30 mg cor 136 round pink ones. Both work for me but I like the round pink ones better. Never tried the Shire brand which is the original manufacturer, but I would love to.

I have the adderall 30 mg and I never have any problems getting at filled.I live in P.S. and use the Walgreens on the corner of pls Blvd and the tpke and never have any problems getting them filled.

I believe everything your saying is TRUE!!!! I can take my round pink "adderall" and go to SLEEP!! Although it does help me more than not taking it at all, so I think there is a very small dose in it BUT NOT what they claim it has in it. I would write more but using my phone. I'm posting this in response to what I believe is true......and will get to the bottom of this. For all that are prescribed Adderall, 30mg tabs, specifically TEVA generic, or what a majority of you have described as the orange tablets: My pharmacy said they were "unable" to order these generic tabs, and instead gave me these pink round tabs instead (claiming they are 30mg Adderall or Amphetamine. As I have been prescribed other generics besides the TEVA over the past 6 years, I've noticed that other generics are not generally effective as the TEVA, and some give me a headache. I noticed when taking my prescribed dosages of these pink tabs (that I've never seen before, by the way) are completely ineffective, give me very bad headaches, and believe they are placebos. When initially looking them up on the internet, there is a "Pill Finder" site that says they are 7.5mg, then another site says they are 20mg, but of course my bottle says they are 30mg. They are also made of "mixed fillers" and not listed as being "amphetamine salts" but curiously state on the bottle they are amphetamines. They are made in India (what a surprise) at some po-dunk-named company, and I truly believe that the government and DEA as well as state officials are trying to eradicate a state's problem they have with this particular medication, and believe that these little pink pills may be a "test" to see how patients react to these "placebos" or they are made of less than 1% of what they say they really are, and hope that no one will call them on this. It would make very good sense, as any pharmacy I have inquired about the TEVA generic Adder all all state similar reasons why they are "out of stock" on this, and may never get TEVA again. They further state (and blame) the DEA for this, as the DEA controls all controlled substances. I believe it is a lie, and that this po-dunk company in India is selling these pink pieces of crap in large bulk numbers for dirt cheap to any state that think can away with it. I believe the DEA and State, government officials are in on this, in the hopes that people will just "come down" off this medication (hence get rid of their "amphetamine problem") and are not realizing what kind of health ramifications are at stake, are punishing anyone who relies on this medication for a specific medical condition, as this would absolve THEIR STATE PROBLEM which patients ultimately have to pay for, and, more importantly, truly believe they are pulling the wool over anyone who has been prescribed this medication, as they believe the general American public is stupid and will not check into this. I believe politicians, states, and the DEA are being paid off huge bucks by these pharmaceutical companies, and somehow getting away with either making these medications with little or none of the ingredients they claim to be made of. Call me cynical, but it's something to think about. I am.

CVS in Florida has the orange 20 mg footballs for 88 bucks for 60- but I can't find them in stock, and they won't order them for me because they say they don't hold that RX so..good luck..CVS had them as o 11/2/14

From what I understand those are manufactured by an Indian pharmaceuticals company called Arubindo. CVS recently stopped carrying the Teva generic brand (which was effective) and are dispensing the new brand, which is cheaper (that's from the CVS Customer Service rep) but in many people's experience simply not as effective to help with concentration, focus, and such.

I truly doubt they're any different, but I prefer the pink 'cor' tablets to the orange football shaped ones. Seem to have a little more coating on them, at least.

Sorry..I read this n jus had to comment...."the good old adderall" that their referring to is the "REAL ADDERALL 30MG ORANGE FOOTBALL SHAPED ONES THAT ABSOLUTELY BLOW AWAY EVERYOTHER TYPE/BRAND/COMPANY/GENERIC... ETC.... that pharmacies are constantly sold out of now, (or at least say they are) or they jus slip u the generic garbage without tellin u because its cheaper for them n as a result.....????....gee...wat happens....????...we the consumer get screwed and the pharmacies get richer n richer because they no that 9 times outta 10, us...being the consumer's will jus go ahead and take the crappy generIc jus for convenIence cause If we dIdnt, we'd be callIn pharm after pharm, hours upon hours, lookIn for that one pharm that carrIes the real real real adderall....."THE GOOD OLD ADDERALL"

It contains 30mgs of Mixed Amphetamine salts, so it's a generic for Adderall, however, whether or not it works for you is something you can only discover by trying it for yourself.
I am not sure what you are referring to as the 'good old Adderall', but it is likely that this one was just available cheaper than the others, when your pharmacy had to restock their supply.
