Irregular Periods - Suggest Tablets

I have had my irregular periods for at least a gap of 3 months. Please suggest me a tablet (other than regestrone) to regularize my periods. Please help me!

Nancy what you need to do is see a doctor to determine whether or not you are pregant, if you're sexually active and once you know that, then you can find a solution.

If you are pregnant and do not wish to have a child, there are solutions available, such as the use of the medication Misoprostol, which can cause an abortion:

If you aren't pregnant or sexually active and are just having menstrual irregularities, your doctor might want you to use something like hormonal contraceptive tablets to help regulate it.

I am getting some colour change after my period...like brownish colour for two or three days...that too it is not continuous...it is only at start when i clean my area...after cleaning initially it is normally white.......is this a serious problem.......and my period is for 7 days....flow stops at the fourth day....but it takes another 4days to get back to white colour.....please tell whether it is any serious problem...

i didnt get period frm past 5years .. m not married..22 years i did my frist periods at 14 years and it wl stoped at 15 years i sugested by some doctors but all they suggested me after my marriage it will be alright.. one doctor suggested for 6 months course of OVRAL oral contraceptive tablets .but nw i didnt get periods ..what can i do.... for this i got some skin problems also.... i had loss weight for till 58 ...5.4 is my height.. i loss my weight also for doctor suggestion but i didnt get period...my uterus scan and thyriod blood reports all r in normal.. plzzzzz sugesst me for my problem ... for this prbms i got depresive,,,plzz help me...

Hi I'm 15 years old and started my period really early at about 9 years old my period is very irregular I could miss 2 month but then be on my period for a month I get large blood clots and worse if all I'm anaemic so when it comes to the time of the month I become I'll and I will pass out in class and won't be able to eat can anybody suggest anything other than the pill that I can try to regulate my periods? Thanks.

shr not getting period for a long period is an issue...i feel the wen u contact a doctor ask me for ur hormones level...deplicit in hormones level may cause these prob.

I had irregular periods for the last two months. My gynecologist suggested I take regestrone 5mg for 3 days thrice in a day...and after that I had my periods but last month on the 17th of march we had protected sex in the afternoon and again at night. On the 19th I had my period, then again visited my gynac. She told me to do a sonography and in the sonography we found that there is pcod starting. So she suggested a tablet for that and regestrone again for regulating my period....but now im feeling like I'm pregnant bcoz I'm having morning sickness, backaches, headaches, etc... So I want to ask you whether I could be pregnant or not? Should I test tomorrow for pregnancy? I've been taking regestrone for two days. Please help me. I'm confused.

I had unprotected sex on April 27th around 1:30am and took the Plan B pill that same day around 9am. I started bleeding on May 7th that lasted about a week and a half. Then on May 18th I started spotting for 2 days and then I had more bleeding for 5 days. I was due for my period on the 16th of June but it has not come yet. So I took a pregnancy test and it was negative. Why haven't I got my period yet?

I am 19 years old and I am having irregular periods since my puberty. I have consulted a gynecologist and had taken hormonal medications which I discontinued later. Now after 3 months I am having periods for 15 or more days, which is not stopping at all. I am having some iron deficiency as well, so I am also taking fercce and Vitamin C tablets. My blood reports, thyroid, ultrasound reports are all normal. I want to get rid of this, as I am going for my holidays in 2 days. So can I take regestrone which can help me to stop my periods till I return? Please advise me as I am in great dilemma and trouble.
