Iron Tablets

I'm about to start my third pack of pills. I was wondering if anyone else felt nauseous while on the iron pills?

I get nausea, every time I take iron pills. And that is three months per year. To avoid this problem, I normally take my iron pills right before I go to bed, this way, I don’t feel anything!

It's normal with iron pills. They are tough on the stomach. Best to take them with food or milk. If that doesn't help then I think it's OK to coat your stomach with Pepto first. They also make them in capsule form.

Yes, that can be a normal side effect, according to FDA reports, you may also experience dizziness, headache, joint pain, and constipation.

It is even worse, if you have the iron infusions, because those side effects can be very intense, and they don't usually go away, with the infusion, they tend to linger and drive people crazy for years.
