Irbesartan (national Drug Code: 43547-0375-09)
UpdatedAre there any warnings or adverse effects from this China-manufactured generic drug? I'm fearful of taking it; and was unable to convince my pharmacy to pursue or supply a U.S. manufactured drug.

Regardless of where it is manufactured, any given medication must meet the same safety and efficacy standards, in order for the FDA to approve of it being supplied and made available in the U.S. The typical side effects of this medication are listed as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension, the same as the others available.
Is there anything else I can help with?
