Insomnia. Trying Lunesta
UpdatedI was on ambien but it stopped working for me. Dr gave me lunesta. First night I took it I slept some. No sleep second night and tonight I'm still awake. I took the lunesta and a melatonin at 8pm. I'm afraid I'm in for another sleepless night.

Sadly, not every medication works for everyone that tries it. It can also depend on what you eat, your sugar and caffeine intake.
The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, funny taste in mouth, and next-day hangover like effects.
Do you practice good sleep hygiene? Such as not having alcohol caffeine, or sugary foods within 3 hours of bed time? Keeping a consistent bed time and wake time?
Are you on any other medications? How long have you been dealing with insomnia?
