Injections In Lower Back Wnew England Pharmacywtainted Medicine

I had a series of eight injection in lower back for severe pain May 2012. Everything went as planned. In fact about three hrs. later I took my three wood and three golf balls just to check. I was amazed at how fluid my backswing was and also follow-thru.
Second series of eight injections, also in the same area,
was given on june 16,2012. I knew at once something was not right. I was uptight, anxious, could not sleep, pain was at its worse. Ended up in ER on fathers day having a reaction to the steriods. As I was keeping my dr. informed w/info was about the timethe Meningitis starting to break out. After contacting CDC I was able to get the lot no. and sure enough the pain clinic I was going to received this taited medicine. The dr. assured me I was not injected directly in the spine. all around but not in the spine. I remember telling him why do I have so much pain all over, no answer.
My question is if you are injected w/taited medicine that has killed many in several states how should or what symptoms would you experience? Thank you

Also had the injection with tainted med. now Doctor wants me to have a MRI with trace dye injection.to insure no abscess has formed from those original injection with NEC compound, Does anyone reading this know of any new problems coming to light with regard to same? Thanks for any reply
