Informing One Dr. About The Other
UpdatedI am about to have surgery and I am in pain management. Should I let my pain management doctor know that I am going to have surgery?

Yes, they should both be informed for your own safety, certain medications may be contraindicated with other medications, including anesthesia, according to the FDA. Not informing your doctors could put your life at risk, both during and after surgery.
What medications are you taking?
