Information On Taking Tamidronate Via Ivfrd
UpdatedI have adenocarcinoma. Primary site is on the lung and 3 bones are affected. I have been advised to take by IV Tamidronate. I am interested in knowing what side effects you have had and are there other insights you have for this drug. Thank you.

It's a Biphosphonate that alters the cycle of bone formation and breakdown in the body. It's used to treat high levels of calcium in the blood that may occur from certain types of cancer and Paget's Disease of the bone.
Side effects may include: severe pain, high fever, rapid weight gain and vision changes.
