What if anything does anyone know about Exlago instead of the Opana 30mg or Opana 40mg for pain because the new ones do not give the same relief as they did? Wouuld a doctor prescribe these instead and if not what is another med that is the same relief as the Opanas were?

Exalgo contains the active ingredient Hydromorphone in a time released formulation.

Is it still a very potent narcotic and can cause side effects such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth and constipation.

As to whether or not your doctor would prescribe it, that would be entirely up to your doctor. Have you discussed it with them?
