I want to know what this capsule is taken for and how to take it? After meals or before meals?

How did your doctor instruct you to use it?

While it can be taken orally, in most cases, this is inserted vaginally for better and faster absorption of the hormone.

It can cause some side effects, such as: nausea, headache, vaginal bleeding and abdominal cramping.

Susten is a Progesterone tablet that is used as a part of hormone replacement therapy in women who have passed menopause (the change of life) and have not had a hysterectomy (surgery to remove the uterus). Hormone replacement therapy usually includes estrogen, which is used to treat symptoms of menopause and reduce the risk of developing certain diseases. However, estrogen can also cause abnormal thickening of the lining of the uterus and increase the risk of developing uterine cancer. Progesterone helps to prevent this thickening and decreases the risk of developing uterine cancer. Progesterone is also used to bring on menstruation (period) in women of childbearing age who have had normal periods and then stopped menstruating

Dear sir/madam
We want to know about the susten 300 mg capsule.Doctor suggested me this capsule for pregnancy.However as per test my prolactin has increased and i am taking medicine for such disease. Pls tell me about this capsule and pls also tell me on taking this capsule,intercourse is possible or not.?

Dear sir, its already been 11 days I missed my periods and when I had test,the result was negative and then I consulted gyno. She prescribed me to use susten 300 tabs fr 5 days. I am planning fr pregnancy. Is the tab helpful or harmful? Can I take or no? I am worried. Please answer?

I am diagnosed with H1N1. It is gradually improving but the thing is, by mistake one nurse had given me Susten 300 to take orally when the doctor stated that it should be administered vaginally. Could this have any effect on my baby during pregnancy?
