Info On Hospice That I've Learned

Updated

I learned that people who enter a hospice are ALSO excluding themselves from local law enforcement authority. The authority over the death certificate switches from local coroner to the hospice worker who answers to the Regional Office for the Center of Medicare/caid. (A federal agency...even though the hospice patient may not be on Medicare!!!! The hospice worker only has to accept fed money from someone whom you don't even know, and THIS makes the CMS in complete control.) For me in Wisconsin, this office is in Chicago, Illinois. The person in charge at the CMS has NO MEDICAL training whatsoever. I spoke personally with my local coroner who confirmed this. He told me that should there be any question on the death, he was not allowed to enter into any hospice situation.

So, a hospice worker could help someone in their care to euthanize themselves, even though local law may say this is illegal. AND the local coroner would not be allowed to investigate.

I had a brother-in-law who was in hospice. The sister-in-law and son stepped out of the house while the hospice worker was there, and when they came back, my brother-in-law was dead. I personally do not think this was coincidence. In Wisconsin, euthanasia is illegal.

The CMS wants to rid the nation of coroners. The CMS wants counties to purchase medical examinations from their pool of certified medical examiners. There are only about 1,000 nationwide in this pool, making them very expensive. Counties would be most reluctant to hire from this pool, and therefore, many deaths in question would not be investigated.

It is scary how much control over life and death our federal government is grabbing.

One thing a person can do Don't go into HOSPICE.
