Indiana Med Distributors Not Supplying Generic Subutex

For the last three months or so I have been having trouble finding 54 411s at Walmart’s in Indiana. So I called Hikma which is who bought out westward. And was told that they are indeed still making the tablet but that they cannot force companies to buy their product. Then was told today by a pharmacy that they have ordered the med but that the distribution center they get them from will not fill the order for any generic subutex even tho they have them? I just can’t understand why they are doing this. So I wanted to see if anyone in Indiana has any info on a pharmacy that gets this brand consistently or one that will order in the med for me? I have been down the rabbit hole of trying different generics. They just do not do me right and the side effects range for each generic. So I have been on 54 411s for about 5 years and am now running into this issue and am very desperate. Everytime I get a different brand I never know what to expect and I dread even filling my script for fear of getting thrown from brand to brand. So if any one has any info it would be greatly appreciated!!!

Really sorry to have to tell you this but it doesn't really come down to a chain of pharmacies or even the area for that matter sometimes. The bottom line comes down to money, it always does. There are several factors which could affect a pharmacies choice to carry a specific generic such as cost of shipping, distance, minimum order sizes etc. You say that you are shopping at Walmart as your primary pharmacy, but have you tried going to other pharmacies in the area? I strongly suggest you do so if you haven't already and be sure to bring your script with you because without it there is a high chance they won't share any information with you at all.

I'm really sorry that you and others have to go through this but that's just the nature of free markets unfortunately.

cvs in tampa carries Hikma, 5411 . I have been to two of them and they both have it. Not sure about Indiana. If you call and ask they should tell you the brand

Need help finding 54 411 (westward brand) near Muncie, Indiana. I was told that they sell to reps in our area and that they are indeed still available but no luck finding them at any pharmacy. I’ve been taking that specific brand for years others just aren’t as good. These cheap ass pharmacies don’t want to pay the money to get them even though they are in high demand. I talk to so many people that want that brand but can’t find them. It’s really frustrating. Plz help keep everyone updated on where to find them around here. It would be so helpful thank you!
