I have an injury of my neck and shoulder and I'm on Transfix 50mg and Percocet. I was prescribed the Percocet every 6-8 hours but I only take 1/2 at night. My doctor won't refill the prescription which lasted me 3.5 weeks, instead of if I took it as prescribed would have been gone in 7 days. It's for the breakthrough pain so I can sleep. Is there anything else I can take? I vomit on Norco and Vicodin.

Confused about my care, Have you talked to your dr about meds that are specifically for nerve pain ? Opiates alone, as a rule, aren't prescribed for nerve pain.

It's tramadol 50mg not transfix (autocorrect) that I'm on and the neck pain is nerve pain that shoots up into my brain in the middle of the night and the tramadol can't get ahead of that pain. The Percocet could do that so then the tramadol works to keep it mostly at bay the rest of the day.

Do you mean Tramadol 50 mg instead of Transfix 50mg ? If it is pain that keeps you awake, ask your dr if you can take Tramadol at night. If you just can't sleep, talk to your dr about something to help you sleep. It is best to not take something to help you sleep for more than a short time.
