Implantation Bleeding Or Breakthrough Bleeding?

Updated April 9, 2014

I don't usually get a period taking this pill so I'm not sure if I could be pregnant or not... I'm don't always take my pills on time and I had intercourse 11 days ago and today (6 days before my period "should" come) I notices slight bleeding that is a light pinkish & dark brown. After doing research I read that implantation bleeding usually occurs 3-6 days before your period is supposed to come but also ready that the pill and cause breakthrough bleeding. Thoughts?

Hello, Abyss! How are you?

It's really just a guessing game, at this point, it could be either/or.

The only thing you can really do is wait and see if you do get your period and if you don't, have a pregnancy test done. However, if you didn't totally skip any pills, then the chance of your being pregnant is very low.

Is there anything else I can help with?
