I'm Pregnant And Only Take 1mg Of Subutex A Day

I'm pregnant and only take 1 mg a day of subutex for a year. I want to stop. its been 3 days and I can't sleep! I don't want to tell my dr cause I just want to quit. I'm so sick of feeling this way and being addicted. is it safe for me to quit cold turkey?

No, it is definitely not safe for you to just stop taking it, while you're pregnant. While you may do okay, the withdrawal effects could be very dangerous for your baby and might result in miscarriage or stillbirth. Please, speak to your doctor about this, if you really feel you need to stop taking it, they can help you do so safely.

This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

Thanks for answering I did tell my dr the truth and she also said I should not be hard on myself and stay on 1 mg every other day if I can its more helpful to be on instead of trying to detox and harm the baby... I have only taken 2mg Friday and nothin since then when I start to feel sick and withdrawl I take a small piece to help her concern is my weight loss

Damn girl....been there...u need to taper even more sounds like. But if you've gone this far u only have to take it a day at a time but if you relapse and get another break it into 1/4 then 1/2 the 1/4s that'll help
