I'm Losing My Hair Due To Nuerontin.

I only took for two weeks and have lost 60% of my hair. I am a woman, and only 43, and scared to death that it will completely fall out, even though I have stopped taking it. Does anyone have any answers to how long this will continue and or suggestions on what helps with hair regrowth from taking nuerontin.

At your age, it is actually difficult to say whether or not the hair loss is solely due to the Neurontin.

Women in their 40's typically also enter perimenopause and the hormonal imbalance can also cause hair loss or hair thinning.

That could explain why you experienced such great hair loss, after being on the medication for such a short period of time. Neurontin may not actually be the cause.

Have you consulted your doctor?

Have you been experiencing worsening PMS symptoms? Heavier periods? More erratic menstrual cycles?
