2) Dose: 3ml vial --- 1 injection every month / 1 inj every 2 months / 1 inj every 3 months.

3) To harden bone, I am taking calcium tablet 500 mg daily.Instead of calcium tablet, can I take 1 vial Idrofos-3 injection every month?

Hello,

I'm not 100% certain, but based on other patient reviews, Idrofos (Ibandronic acid) injection is said to be taken via intramuscular (I.M.) route.

It is also noted to be common for patients to take this medication with a "once-a-month" dosing schedule.

I would still continue to take calcium, or at least eat calcium/magnesium rich foods, if you can determine if that's what your body is lacking in. Otherwise, this medication is said to be used to strengthen thin and weak bones in people who have or are at risk of osteoporosis. It helps to stop the loss of bone and also helps to increase bone mass.

To answer your last question, the duration of time you take this drug is something that should be determined by your doctor, based on his reasoning and evaluation of the condition.

I came across an article of information that may be able to answer a few other questions or concerns you may have had regarding side effects and/or how to use this medication properly:

I hope this info helps!
