Trying to identify an oval yellow pill with letter v on one side and numbers 1096 on the other side.

What is a yellow oval tablet with V on one side and 1096 on the other. Is it hydrocodone?

I have hydrocodone and oxycodone that's 10 yrs old/and I had teeth taking out is it OK to still take it!??

The oval yellow pill you are describing is identified as generic Acetaminophen (325 mg) + Hydrocodone bitartrate (10 mg); Manufactured by Vintage Pharmaceuticals Inc.

NOTE: The correct marking is actually "V 36 01" (pretty much an upside down version of your description)

Acetaminophen + Hydrocodone is a combination of two types of pain medicine to treat moderate to severe pain.
