Ic Lisinopril 10mg

i have just been put on lisinopril 10mg,but after reading about it, am scared to take it, because i take aspirin once a while for body ache and also take FLAX OIL omega 3 daily,can i still go ahead with the prescription? the doctor said its okay, just want a second opinion.

Hi, I've been on Lisinopril 10 mg. for at least 5 years. I take 10- 1,000mg of fish oil and a Plavix every other day and have no problems with it.
I'm 76 years old.
I hope this helps.
(The fish oil helps with inflammation for arthritis).

Lisinopril is an ACE Inhibitor that is used to treat high blood pressure and certain cardiac conditions and as Kittty already stated, it is often combined with the other products you mentioned. Many of them also help with cardiac function.

If you are still worried, please feel free to check with your pharmacist, as well.

It may cause side effects, such as: nausea, dizziness, drowsiness and headache.

I was on it for awhile, with various vitamins and supplements and the only problem I had was with the side effects from the Lisinopril itself, it caused me to develop an almost constant dry cough, which it can do to some people and I had to switch to a different medication.
