I have an oblong white tablet with just capital I then #9 on it - blank on the other side. I suppose it could be 6I, but it really looks like a 9 to me. 4 years old boy took nurofen (bifen) 7.5mls once day for 3 days..any side effect to the boy? ## Nurofen is a name brand for several medications made by Reckitt Benckiser, so the precise ingredients depend on the exact formulation you gave him. Though they are all listed as containing Ibuprofen, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory used to treat pain and fever. If this is what is in the one you gave him, common side effects can include: nausea, drowsiness, headache and stomach irritation. Oval White pressed powder pill ## I was unable to locate any pills, with these markings. Is there any other markings on the pill? Any more information you give will help me better in finding the right pill. ## I believe you meant to say 6i, which can easily be mistaken for i9, since the I is in caps. dark brown, shinny, with no letters or numbers, approx. 5/8 long ## I'm sorry, if there are no markings on the tablet, then it will be impossible to positively identify. It could be any on of a number of over the counter items, including Ibuprofen or nutritional supplements. I really wish I could help more.

oval shaped i-2 brown pill ? red round small pills with 90 on them? ## The I2 tablet contains 200mgs of Ibuprofen, a generic or store brand of Advil or Motrin, commonly used to relieve pain and fever. Are there any other markings on the other pill? Or just those numbers? I am having trouble finding this one. Does anyone else know what it is? Was it found in the U.S.?

while large oblong pill w/ ip466 on one side of pill ## IP 466 is Ibuprofen 800 mg manufactured by Amneal Pharmaceuticals. It is used as a pain reliever and anti-inflammatory. The 800 mg is prescription strength, as an over-the-counter Advil is only 200 mg.

It is Ibuprofen 600 mg. I just got a prescription for it, My wisdom teeth were taken out. They are Pointless if you ask me, They don't help allot with the pain... but they do help with swelling i guess.. ## Well, what you have to understand is that Ibuprofen is just a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory, it is not a narcotic, so while it helps with pain, its effects are limited. This is the same medication that is found in a lower dose, over the counter in Advil and Motrin.
