Ibilex 500 Earache

My doctor recommended that my daughter take Ibilex 500 for an earache which was accompanied by a cough and a sore throat. She said for her to take 4 tablets at 4 different times of the day for 7 days straight. Is this right?

The U.S. FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea.
