You can find a doctor to do any operation, according to the well known maxim that to the man with a hammer, every problem begins to look like a nail !:-}

Seriously though, if you can swallow your tongue while reclining, and you also have a serious overbite then surgery may help - or not!

Ask the surgeon hard questions, and if he seems at all evasive, or contradicts himself, then run - don't walk - away.

Since CPAP doesn't work for me I am looking into the use of removable dental appliances and drugs for apnea rather than surgery. My first problem is to find a dentist specializing in treating apnea.

This is not easy since the town I live in has a fulltime population of about five thousand people - it's the county seat - and is Sthe largest city in the county.
