I Was Taking An Oblong Percocet 10/325

I was taking an oblong white Percocet 10/325, my pharmacy has changed to a round white 10/325 pill which is to me much stronger. Can there be such a difference in the same prescription but different manufacturers? With the round pill I feel tired and checked out. The other pill I didn't seem to have any effect unless I took my klonopin at the same time.

Under the Hatch-Waxman Act of 1984 the FDA allows the generics to differ from the name brand, in the amount of the active ingredient, by as much as plus, or minus 20%. Thus, it is possible that one may be stronger than another, since generic manufacturers don't have to measure against each other, only against the name brand.

The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth.

What are the markings on the ones you are currently taking? Can you please post back with these details? That would enable me to check into this further for you. Thanks!
