Hi Emma! How are you doing?
Did you experience any unusual symptoms? Since they are hormonal based contraceptives, taking extra may cause cramping, breakthrough bleeding, irritability and headache.
As to how to proceed, you should continue taking them daily through the rest of the pack, just as your are supposed to and, in most cases, you can just start your new pack a day early, basically changing your cycle by a day.
However, you should check with your doctor first, to make sure that it's safe for you to do this.
