I Think Prednisone Made Me Test Positive For Suboxone. Is That Possible?

I was in the hospital and receiving prednisone I.v., morphine I.v., flagyl I.v. and phernergan I.v., zofran, and then compazine suppository. Also four antibiotics I.v. I left hospital on Sunday night went to regular appt at pain management Monday morning and failed it for suboxone which I had to google because I didn't even know what it was and when finding out knew for sure I had not taken something that would make my pain meds not work. After being kicked to the curb I poured over hospital papers and wondered if prednisone could cause a false positive. I lost my pain management over this and considering I got out a day early just to go to this appt

I m wondering why this would happen considering the only ingredient in prednisone is prednisone. ive never heard of it being prescribed to wean off pain meds either. confusing. hopefully by now they have realized this could happen and follow up. a one time false positive at pain management should not be reason to dismiss you altogether!
