I Take Clopidogrel

I always take clopidogrel in a morning at 7am, this morning I have not got my tablets with me. can I take my tablet this afternoon when I get back home at 2pm. Or do I leave it and carry on taking dosage tomorrow morning

hello yes i am taking clopidogrel 75mg since i had a stent insertrd about 3 and a half years ago my cardio doc says i can stop tak8ng but i scared is this a good practice

Yes, unless your doctor has instructed otherwise, you should take it as soon as you can today and then continue with your normal dosing schedule the next morning.

The FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding and easy bruising.

Alan, it is best to follow your doctor's instructions, it may not be necessary for you to continue it. Some people do come off of it, after being on it for a certain period of time. Are you on any other medications?
