Hi, Betty! Sorry about the problem that you're having.
Yes, you need to see your eye doctor for an updated prescription.
Even though increasing the font may help, while on your computer, it doesn't relieve the strain your are placing on your eyes at other times for things you're looking at and can't adjust the size on, such as street signs and etc.
For your own safety, especially if you drive, you need to do so as soon as possible.
