ATTENTION EVERYONE, PLEASE HELP ME. I desperately need anyone's help to find me a new liberal pain management doctor anywhere in Connecticut who will increase my current dose of oxycodone pain medication from 10mg four times a day which im currently prescribed to at least 30mg three times a day without giving me a hassle like I'm some type of drug addict which I'm honestly not even though my current doctor treats me like it even though in all honesty my pain level really is bad enough to require such a high dose. Anyone please give me any info. I need to contact another pain clinic doctor in Connecticut who will probably increase my oxycodone meds without giving me a hard time. ANY INFO WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. Please respond as soon as possible. Thanks a lot. Peace everyone, hope you all receive the proper pain management care you all deserve.
It's terrible and so is that administration. What do they do for pain? I'm also looking for a dr. In Hartford area. Perhaps a anesthesiologist? We sure need a change. I'm in wallingford pain care and they have reduced me from 40mg oxycontin to 15 mg morphine. Any suggestions? 2× a day does not work for oxys, they only last 8 hrs. Not 12. HELP.
Actually you can thank Obama & the Democrats for the sudden & heavy crack down on opiod pain meds.Via the Center for Disease Control they are pushing prescribers hard to get people off the meds & recommending no more than 3 day treatments if they must prescribe them. I just had my appointment with my pain management Dr. a few days ago who told me this.I also confirmed this via numerous news stories in the media.
I will travel anywhere in the U.S. for an oxycodone friendly pain clinic. Please somebody help!!!!
I'm looking for a doctor in ct that will prescribe Percocet. I suffer daily with pain and certain doctors just don't get it. Maybe if they felt what i feel they would be more sympathetic. Just sucks. Does anyone have any ideas? Please let me know
Pablo, Verwon is right. Doctor's & pharmacists are forced to stand by the very messed up new rules that the D.E.A. have established. You should maybe talk to your doctor, ask him/her to give you another pain med or maybe talk to him/her about helping you to taper off of such a high dosage. Don't get me wrong...I UNDERSTAND how you feel. I take a low dosage of Oxycodone daily; I have to. But, I had to force myself to take less than the prescribed dosage because I was afraid to run completely out. Which is what happened this month. I tripped and lost my footing at my pond. Fell down and rolled right into the water. Ay, ay,ay that was scary. Anyway, had to take extra medicine for the pain I felt but ran out. I haven't had any Oxycodone for 6 days. I haven't had any of the w/drawl effects that I've read people have after a couple of days of not taking it. I don't know, they may still come. I'm scared that I'm gonna wake up in a hot sweat and start falling apart. I read that there are people that are starting to look to the streets for their pain meds, marijuana too!
Ironic isn't it? A certain percentage of doctor's, pharmacist, D.E.A and general public have decided for us that truly need pain med, that it's habit forming. Well, those of us w/a brain already knew that! But we suffer pain from ailments that will NEVER go away! So give us a break!
I sure do hope you get what you need Pablo.
Hello, Pablo! How are you? I'm very sorry that you're in pain.
However, the days of really liberal pain management doctors are over. There were new regulations put in place last year that restrict how much they can prescribe of any given medication. Your current doctor really has no choice but to act that way and be very careful and neither does any other. Doing otherwise risks jail time, fines and losing their license to practice medicine.
This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
Have you discussed the pain problem with your doctor? Is Oxycodone the only medication you're taking?
