I Need A Dr That Prescribes Methadone

I have been on methadone for over a year. My dr got arrested, now I'm out of my meds and I don't know what to do. I'm going through withdrawal and it sucks. My primary dr will not prescribe it. I am in so much pain, I'm starting to lose my mind.

They never should have prescribed methadone for you. Not for pain relief. That's probably why the doc got arrested. Methadone is used to get people off opiates. But now your addicted to methadone. Get off that drug. You'll be a slave to it and can't live without it. You'll wind up in a methadone clinic. If you do, detox asap.
