I Need A Doctor In San Jose California That Will Prescribe Me Vicodin For My Back Pain (Page 4)

I just this morning went to my doctor and I went because my back pain I have had for 3 years that I have opted not to take pain killers for has gotten so bad I can't work out, I can't stand at work for more than 5 minutes with out pain and I am now losing sleep too. I told my doctor all of this and he thinks i need to have rehabilitation and physical therapy which doesnt even start till next month. I need a doctor that understands my immediate needs for my pain. Can anyone help?

Ok after a lot no just kidding it took me no reasonable amount of time at All to figure all u 50% of wat brains u have left that haven't been shocked to death that u fn people are crazeee as hell, I didn't even thnk ths web site was frkn real!!!!

If you have mri's or x rays to show that you need pain medication there are places that have very fine pain management doctors.

I think therapy and all of those non medication treatments are a waste of time and money. believe me I know. My sister is in bed in horrible pain from a nerve ablation treatment that was to help her pain. Now she is in much worse pain. I wish there was a way for us to send an e mail because no doctor wants their name on here and they are all very legal and cautious and they do not need exposure.

It took me two years to find the right doctor. I sympathize with all of you.

Hi, I am looking for someone in the Los Gatos/San Jose area to help with my pain issues as well. I have Kaiser and they just flat out don't help or seem to care about the pain their patients are in. It's depressing. Thanks in advance everyone.

Hello I live in Santa Cruz and I'm moving to San Jose, the doctor I see now in Santa Cruz is only a family practice doctor so he can't prescribe me any more pain meds than he already does. I have been seeing him for last 4 years and I have grown a tolerance to my current dosage of roxi 30's, methadone, soma, and valiuum. I need to find a doctor in the Los gatos/San Jose area that will prescribe me the meds I need. I have MRI results and a 4 year med history for my ruptured disc in my L3. I am in chronic debilitating pain and I can't sleep for longer than a few hours before the pain wakes me up. Anybody please help me.

Hello Lou, please help me. I have a ruptured disc in my L3 which causes me immeasurable pain. I have been seeing a doctor in Santa Cruz for the last 4 years but he is only a family practice Doctor and will not prescribe me any more meds than what I currently take, even though I have built up a tolerance. I take roxicodone 30's, methadone, soma, and valiuum. I have been in 3 major car accidents, which are to blame for my condition. I have MRI's and my 4 year med history. Can u please help me find a pain doctor who will prescribe me the meds I need in the Los Gatos, San Jose area? Thank u in advance.

Hello all. I am also new to CA and looking for a doctor that is not against prescribing medication. I was in a bad car accident 10 years ago in my previous state, have had surgeries, etc. Previous doctors prescribed the necessary medication. Here, I feel like I'm starting all over. 'Try PT', 'try this' etc. I don't want to run the gamut of trials and specialists. I'd like to just feel relief and get back to enjoying life's activities.

I see many asking for Doctor recommendations, but I didn't see any specifics on who I might want to see for chronic, severe pain. Can anyone help?

San Jose, Los Gatos area it is almost impossible to find a caring doctor. The papers are full of articles daily about the increase in drug overdoses. Doctors that care are afraid to write controlled substances. Getting Valium and another drug such as Xanax and a pain med is something I doubt would ever happen. One doctor in Los Gatos lost her license last May. She was prescribing these meds. I am fortunate my family doctor knows me and my issues. I spent years seeing pain management doctors and had the evaluations and all of the methods they use and it was a waste of my time and I got worse. It was then that I approached my PCP and he prescribed my two controlled medications. Soma and Norco. I am very fortunate and I always take my pills as prescribed and I see him every month.

I hope you all are able to find a doctor and you must have a file with your issues. If you state fibromyalgia they will automatically cut you off. One doctor told me it did not exist. I do not have it but he did a complete family history and I stated my mother had it. He was almost vicious and he was filled with hatred. My Mom is dead and still she gets attacked. It is a different time for those of us who suffer. Our grandparents had these drugs in their homes without the need for prescriptions.

get a different dr. problem solved. but your dr is probably right. if you are dependent they should give you more to slowly taper off if needed.

I have heard Dr Robert Nishime is a very kind doctor who is a family doctor and a pain management doctor .He is located at Japantown in San Jose Ca. I would not ask for a specific drug but see him and let him know what your health issues are . He does not judge you. I have never seen him but if you read up on him on Yelp you will see how people like him so much.

The Bay Area is too large to pinpoint any physician you can go to. You want to find a doctor close to you.

Most pain management doctors in San Jose want nothing to do with prescribing pain medication. They ask a patient to take Advil or they give us a prescription of Methotrexate or a similar drug, Those drugs gave me heart burn and did not relieve pain.
There is a lot of money to be made on therapy and epidurals. In my case I tried everything even water therapy. The doctor made an enormous amount of money. That is what I have found here and my friends and family have all been through the same thing.
I can only be on my feet for about five minutes. The three herniated bulging discs are causing so much pain. I am not a candidate for surgery.

I found help through my family doctor and so has one of my friends who got up the courage to talk to her family physician. Two years of my life was wasted and filled with pain with no results.

What we need to do here is have a patient strike and boycott these doctors that are refusing to prescribe pain meds for chronic pain. If a bunch of us were to get together and picket outside of their offices and file complaints on them for patient stereotyping and discrimination that would start weeding them out. The DEA issued "guidelines" stating that they have to explain the risks and then monitor the patient. That's all, but these quacks are just lazy. Most insurance providers will mail to you the complaint form that will then be filed with the state. Fight back against these non compassionate doctors and epidermal shot mills. File complaints.
