Insomnia can be a side effect of most antibiotics, according to FDA reports, as odd as it may seem. Some people experience drowsiness, some experience insomnia and irritability, along with dizziness, and diarrhea. My husband has been dealing with it recently, because he was taking a steroid, then put on Amoxicillin.
At least he is on call some nights, so he needs to be awake, anyway, in case the phone rings. LOL
How are you doing, now? Has there been any change? Are you on any other medications?
