I Have Been Given Amox-clav 875 Mg Tab For A Skin Infection

I have the 875 mg tablet, it's so large and I see it's scored in half. Is it safe for me to snap it in half and take one half at a time, as long as I am taking entire tablet?

Yes, you can cut or break them in half to make it easier to swallow them, as long as you take the whole tablet. Unless your doctor specifies some reason you shouldn't do so.

The FDA lists the typical side effects of this antibiotic as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.
